Sea Monsters Home
Welcome to your number one source for all Sea Monster related news and stories! Sea Monsters are biological aquatic phenomena which have made a constant appearance all over the globe. The Sea Monster phenomena has been constant ever since humans began recording history, from the Ancient Egyptians to Christopher Columbus, and even in the modern day Navy there have been reports and sightings of Sea Monsters and the wreckage they have left behind.
These underwater monstrosities can take many forms these include but are not limited to, sea dragons, sea serpents, or multi-armed beasts. These creatures may be slimy or scaly and are often pictured menacing ships or emitting jets of water. The definition of a "monster" is subjective, and some sea monsters may have been exaggerations of scientifically accepted creatures such as whales and types of giant squid.
These creatures have been spotted all over the world, from Scottland's Loch Ness Monster to Canada's Ogopogo. They appear just about in every body of water that is deep enough to facilitate them. In history they appear in myths such as The Kraken, The Leviathan, The Hydra and of course Mermaids. How could something that has thousands upon thousands of witnesses each year be false?
Every year hundreds of people and boats go missing in our earth's oceans never to be seen again. A large percentage of these losses can be explained through general or scientific means, but a small percentage of these phenomena cannot be explained. It is this small percentage that keeps the myths of Sea Monsters alive! So all this being said do you really feel safe fairing out to open sea without being properly equipped with the information needed to avoid all of underwater beasts? Fear not! This site will make sure that you are never eaten by anything with more than two arms!
